For those who wish for a quieter holiday why not take a drive to the Comeragh Mountains which surround the town of Dungarvan. These mountains have many beautiful lakes and also the very spectacular Mahon Falls. The Nire Valley and the Vee are two valleys in the Comeraghs popular with tourists on motoring holidays as they afford the visitor spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Waterford City is just 30 minutes drive from Dungarvan. If you visit the city be sure to take a look at the show rooms of the world famous "Waterford Crystal" factory.
